What a full removals service covers

We handle the whole move from start to finish. The crew loads your belongings, we transport them to the new address, and we unload and set everything down in the rooms you point us to, all to a plan we agree before the day. The crew and van are sized to how much you have and how easy the access is, so a busy house move gets more hands than a quiet flat.

This is the full service for whole homes and offices. If you only need a single item shifted or a small flat clearing, our man and van page is the better fit and usually the cheaper one.

Home moves and office moves

Home moves run on your timing. We work around the keys, the kids and the kettle, and we place furniture and boxes where you want them rather than dumping the lot in the hall.

Office moves need a bit more thought, because you want the business running again fast and the disruption kept low. We often run these out of hours or over a weekend so your team comes back to desks that are already in place, and we will walk the route and the lift access with you beforehand so the move slots into the working week without trouble.

How removals are priced

Removals start from £199 per move, and the final figure comes down to a few honest factors. We look at the volume of belongings, the distance between the two addresses, how many movers the job needs, and the access at each end, meaning stairs, lift availability and where the van can actually park.

A quick survey or a solid inventory list firms up the quote. Tell us what you have and we tell you the price. The number we agree is the number you pay, with nothing added on the day.

Planning the move day

Good planning makes the day calm. Once the quote is set we agree an arrival time, a rough running order and any parking you need to arrange, so the crew arrives knowing exactly what is going where and in what sequence.

On the day we protect doorways and larger pieces, load in a sensible order, and check off the inventory as we go. You walk the empty property with us at the end to make sure nothing has been left behind.

FAQ

How do you work out the price, and what is a survey?

The price reflects the volume of your belongings, the travel distance, the crew size and the access at both ends. A survey is a short look round your property, in person or by video call, so we can see what is moving. If a survey is not convenient, a detailed inventory list does much the same job and lets us quote accurately.

Do you dismantle and reassemble furniture?

Yes. The crew can take apart beds, wardrobes and flat-pack units that will not fit through doors or up stairs, then put them back together at the new place. Let us know in advance which pieces need it so we bring the right tools and allow the time.

Are my goods insured while you move them?

We carry goods in transit cover, so your belongings are insured while they are in our hands and on the van. If you have anything especially high in value, mention it when you book so we can talk through how it is handled and confirm the position before the day.

How far will you move us?

We cover local moves and longer-distance ones. Our base is London, Manchester and Liverpool and the areas around them, and we regularly run cross-country jobs between regions. Distance is one of the things that feeds into the quote, so a longer haul is priced accordingly.

Can you pack for us as well?

Packing is an optional add-on. We can box up some or all of your home, bring the materials and label everything by room, or you can pack yourself and we simply move it. Tell us which you would prefer when you get your quote and we will price it in.

How much notice do you need?

Book as early as you can. A week or two of notice gives you the best choice of dates, and Fridays and month-ends fill up fast. We can sometimes take a move at short notice when a crew is free, so it is always worth asking even if your date is close.
