Areas we cover in Wirral
Postcode areas: CH41, CH42, CH43, CH44, CH45, CH46, CH47, CH48, CH49, CH60, CH61.
- Birkenhead
A port town in CH41 with mixed older rental stock, a lot of it Victorian terraces split into flats. Conversion check-outs put several kitchens and bathrooms on separate reports, so the oven and the worn communal stairs take the time; bin and parking arrangements are sorted before the team arrives.
- West Kirby
An affluent coastal town in CH48 of period houses near the marine lake. The larger homes carry sash windows, original woodwork and several carpeted rooms that an inventory clerk works through carefully, so we set aside extra time for the detail and pace the clean across the whole property.
- Heswall
An affluent CH60 area of mostly owner-occupied detached homes, with rentals at the upper end. When these do change hands the inventory is long: multiple bathrooms, big kitchens and acres of carpet, so the clean is paced through the house and the oven and the floors get the most attention.
- Hoylake
A seaside town in CH47 by the Royal Liverpool links, a mix of period houses and seafront flats. Salt air leaves a film on windows and frames that a check-out notes, so external glass and sills are part of the job, alongside the oven and the carpets indoors.
- Wallasey
A residential town in CH44 with many large houses converted into flats. A conversion hand-back means the oven, the internal windows and the shared stair carpet all sit on the report, so that’s where the hours go; we confirm where the van parks before starting on the kitchen.
- New Brighton
A seaside resort in CH45 of promenade flats and seafront lets above the front. Sea spray dulls the windows and balcony glass, so a move-out clean covers the external glazing as well as the oven and the carpets, and we arrange access through the block before the team starts.
- Bebington
A leafy CH63 area beside Port Sunlight, a mix of inter-war semis and period homes. Family semis put two floors of carpet and often a second bathroom on the inventory, so the clean is paced room by room, with the oven and the kitchen units taking the longest.
- Bromborough
A CH62 area of semi-detached and terraced homes with gardens. The semis bring more rooms and carpet into the check-out while the terraces turn on the oven and the skirtings, so we plan the visit around the kitchen and the floors, the two things a clerk reliably flags here.
- Caldy
A small affluent village in CH48 of large detached houses in generous plots. These properties carry several bathrooms, big kitchens and a lot of carpet, so the inventory is long and the clean paced over the whole house; the oven and the flooring usually take the most attention on a move-out.
- Prenton
A residential Birkenhead area in CH43, home to Tranmere, with terraces and inter-war semis. On match-day weekends we plan vans around the crowds; the check-out itself turns on the oven, the stair carpet and the skirtings, with worn kitchens the usual place a clerk starts marking.
End of tenancy cleaning on the Wirral from £156, from the family homes of West Kirby and Heswall to the Birkenhead terraces, with a free 48-hour re-clean if the check-out flags our work.
Two Wirrals, and a water line down the middle
The Wirral really is two places. The west (West Kirby, Heswall, Caldy, Hoylake) is large, premium family homes, where the check-out is about wood and engineered floors, more bathrooms and the higher finish a clerk expects. The east, around Birkenhead and Wallasey, is Victorian terraces in the middle of a huge regeneration (Wirral Waters and the Birkenhead 2040 plan), where it is oven grease, carpet wear and damp.
There is even a water line. Most of the Wirral is on soft water (the CH41 to CH49 postcodes), but the affluent south (Heswall, Bebington and Bromborough in CH60 to CH63) reads slightly hard, so limescale on the taps and glass actually matters in those premium bathrooms. We treat each accordingly.
- Wood and engineered floors and more bathrooms in the West Kirby and Caldy homes
- Oven grease, carpet wear and damp in the Birkenhead and Wallasey terraces
- Limescale in the slightly-hard south Wirral (Heswall, Bebington, Bromborough)
- New-build snags in the Wirral Waters regeneration flats
What it costs on the Wirral
A studio is from £156, a one-bed £207, a two-bed £243, a three-bed £339 and a four-bed £425 for a standard clean; the larger west-Wirral houses are priced on the property.
Local quotes run from about £205 for a one-bed up to £340-plus for a four-bed, so our band is competitive. The bigger Heswall and Caldy houses are the jobs that climb: more floors, more bathrooms, and in the slightly-hard south the limescale work too. Send the details and we’ll fix the figure.
Big house or terrace, priced to fit.
Parking and access on move-out day
In the west (West Kirby, Heswall, Caldy) homes have driveways and the streets are unrestricted, so the van parks outside. Birkenhead town centre is a controlled zone, so for a flat there we sort a permit or come in by train. There is no clean-air charge in Merseyside.
Send the address with your booking and we’ll sort access in advance.
We clean to the report
Wirral lettings run through agents like Clive Watkin around Heswall and West Kirby and Karl Tatler across the peninsula, and a check-out is usually an itemised clerk’s report. We take it point by point: the wood floors and bathrooms in the west-Wirral homes, the oven and damp-prone corners in the Birkenhead terraces.
Pass on the check-out report or the check-in inventory and we follow it point by point.
