Down the coast, Crosby and Formby are affluent family homes; Bootle and south Sefton are denser Victorian terraces with more grease, damp and wear.

Parking and access on move-out day

Out at Formby, Birkdale, Ainsdale and Crosby the homes have driveways and the streets are unrestricted, so the van parks outside. Southport and Bootle town centres are controlled, and Sefton doesn’t issue visitor permits to landlords or in central Southport, so for a town flat we use pay-and-display or come in by train. There is no clean-air charge for the van in Merseyside.
