Areas we cover in Croydon

Postcode areas: CR0, CR2, CR3, CR5, CR7, CR8, CR9, SE19, SE25, SW16.

  • Thornton Heath

CR7 streets of Victorian and Edwardian terraces, a good share split into flats. The conversions mean a check-out runs to several rooms plus a shared kitchen and bathroom on one inventory, and the older ovens plus hard-water limescale are where most of the report time goes.

  • Purley

CR8, a commuter suburb of larger semis with its own rail station. The bigger houses carry more rooms and a second bathroom to bring up to standard, so a move-out takes longer, and the hard chalk water leaves limescale on the taps and shower screen a clerk checks first.

  • Coulsdon

CR5, a suburb at the borough’s southern edge near the M23 and M25. Mostly interwar and post-war semis, so check-outs run the family-house list of carpets, oven and windows, with limescale on the bathroom fittings the opening item on most inventories here.

  • Norbury

SW16 on the Streatham border, mostly terraced houses and conversions. Many are sharer flats with high turnover, so a check-out is the full terrace list of oven, internal windows, skirtings and carpets, and the bathroom limescale is usually the first thing a clerk flags.

  • South Norwood

SE25 around Norwood Junction, Victorian terraces and conversions. A large share are converted into flats, so a move-out covers several rooms plus a communal kitchen and bathroom on one report, with the original windows and woodwork needing careful detailing by hand.

  • Addiscombe

CR0, a Victorian suburb on the tram line east of East Croydon. The terraces are often split into flats let to young professionals, so a check-out means multiple rooms and a shared kitchen and bathroom, and the older ovens take the longest part of the clean.

  • New Addington

A large interwar and post-war estate at the tram’s eastern terminus. Much of the housing is ex-council, so check-outs centre on carpet wear, communal stairs where homes are split, and the oven, with hard-water limescale on the bathroom fittings to clear against the inventory.

  • Sanderstead

CR2, a village-feel suburb of family houses at the borough’s south. The homes are mostly larger semis and detached, so a move-out covers several rooms and original kitchens, and the very hard chalk water leaves limescale on the taps and kettle a clerk checks early.

  • South Croydon

CR2, period terraces and flats just south of the centre. Plenty of the houses are converted, so a check-out runs to several rooms plus a shared kitchen and bathroom on one inventory, with the original sash windows and skirtings needing extra time to detail.

End of tenancy cleaning in Croydon from £156, from the East Croydon towers to the suburban semis of Purley and Coulsdon, with a free 48-hour re-clean if the check-out flags our work.

Croydon is mostly suburban, and that shapes the clean

For all the towers going up by East Croydon, most of Croydon is suburban: 1930s semis and Victorian terraces out through Thornton Heath, Addiscombe, Purley and Coulsdon. On a family semi the check-out is the oven, the bathrooms, and carpet worn down the stairs and hallway, plus the high dust on picture rails nobody has touched for years. Bigger house, more rooms, more to do.

The centre is the opposite. The new rental towers around East Croydon, Ten Degrees and the blocks by the station, are compact flats where the deposit turns on limescale on the glass shower screen and grease on the induction hob and oven. The big estates like New Addington are older fittings, so it is back to oven and worn carpet. We price to the property type.

  • Oven, bathrooms and stair-carpet wear in the Thornton Heath and Purley houses
  • High dust on picture rails and skirting in the period terraces
  • Limescale on glass and induction-hob grease in the East Croydon tower flats
  • Oven grease and worn carpet in the New Addington estates

What it costs in Croydon

A studio starts at £156, a one-bed at £207, a two-bed at £243, a three-bed at £339 and a four-bed at £425 for a standard end of tenancy clean. Carpets are the usual add-on.

Croydon has some of the cheapest headline quotes in London. You will see studios advertised under £100, but those are usually a quick wipe that does not survive a check-out. Our from-price includes the oven and is set to pass the report. On a three- or four-bed house the room count is what moves it, so tell us the size and we fix the figure.

Oven’s in the price.

Parking and access on move-out day

Central Croydon and a lot of the suburbs are controlled parking zones, and visitor parking is virtual through RingGo rather than a scratchcard. You can buy an emissions-priced day permit in most zones (the central town-centre zone sells only an evenings-and-Sundays annual permit), so covering a full-house clean is usually straightforward; set one up for the slot and we park by the door.

Out in the suburban streets there is often a driveway or unrestricted parking anyway. The whole borough is inside the ULEZ since the 2023 expansion, so factor that in if you’re hiring a van. Tell us where the property is.

We clean to the report

Croydon lettings run through agents like Foxtons and Leaders on the High Street and Bairstow Eves around George Street, and a check-out is usually an itemised clerk’s report. We match it line by line: the oven and carpets in the houses, the glass and hob in the tower flats.

Forward the check-out report or the check-in inventory and that report is the brief. It is the quickest way to protect the deposit.

Moved out of my Purley flat and End of Tenancy made it perfect. Had been worried because the carpets were in a state. They steam cleaned everything and they came up like new. Not a single deposit deduction.

FAQ

Do you cover all of Croydon?

Yes, across CR0, CR2, CR5, CR7 and CR8, plus SE25, from West, East and South Croydon to Thornton Heath, Norbury, Addiscombe, Purley, Coulsdon and New Addington. Send your postcode to confirm the earliest slot.

Do big suburban houses cost more?

A three- or four-bed semi in Purley or Coulsdon has more rooms, bathrooms and carpet than a flat, so it sits above the headline bedroom price. Send the postcode and the size and we’ll quote the house rather than guess.

How does parking work for the clean?

Croydon uses virtual visitor parking through RingGo, an emissions-priced day permit in most controlled zones (the central zone is annual-only), with nothing to display. Many suburban streets are unrestricted anyway. Tell us the address and we’ll sort it.

Is carpet cleaning included?

Carpets are vacuumed as standard. A deep carpet clean is an add-on, worth it when your check-in inventory recorded the carpets as cleaned, common in the family houses and long lets here. We’ll say if your report doesn’t call for it.
