What loses a deposit in Westminster

Westminster is mansion blocks and period flats more than carpets and conversions, and that changes the clean. The purpose-built blocks around Marylebone, Pimlico and Maida Vale tend to have parquet or hardwood floors and older galley kitchens, so the deposit turns on floor marks, oven grease and limescale in period bathrooms rather than carpet wear.

The grand stucco terraces and garden squares in Belgravia and Pimlico add ornate cornicing and picture rails that hold dust up high, while the newer serviced apartments and glass-fronted flats are all about smears on floor-to-ceiling glass and the integrated appliances. There is also real ex-council stock, around Church Street and Churchill Gardens, where it is back to heavy oven and bathroom work.
