A borough of new-builds, and what they catch
Greenwich has put up more new homes in the last decade than almost anywhere in London, the Peninsula at North Greenwich, Kidbrooke Village on the old Ferrier estate, and Royal Arsenal Riverside over in Woolwich are thousands of flats between them. In a new-build the check-out is all about water and surfaces: limescale and spotting on the glass shower screens and chrome, grease inside the integrated ovens, and the marks that show up on white quartz worktops.
The older Greenwich is a different clean. The Georgian and Victorian terraces around the town centre and Blackheath sit in conservation areas, so it is sash windows, dust on cornicing, worn carpet and the soot around the period fireplaces. We match the clean to the place, new or old.

Parking and access on move-out day
Much of the borough is controlled parking, and Greenwich runs visitor parking as virtual sessions rather than paper scratchcards. You book online against the van’s registration, and depending on the zone a session covers four hours or a full day. There is plenty of allowance, so covering a full-flat clean is no problem; set one up for the slot and we park by the door.
For the Peninsula and Woolwich new-builds the team can also come in on the Jubilee line or the Elizabeth line and work from the lift. The whole borough is inside the ULEZ. Tell us the building and parking position when you book.

The Greenwich High Road agents (Winkworth, Hamptons and Marsh & Parsons all sit along it) check out against an itemised clerk’s report, and the build-to-rent and managed blocks on the Peninsula are stricter still.
