Wembley build-to-rent checks out hard

Wembley Park is now one of the biggest build-to-rent sites in the country, thousands of professionally managed flats, and build-to-rent landlords check out hard. The inventories are detailed and the standard is high, because the same flat gets re-let quickly. In those flats the deposit turns on hard-water marks: limescale on the glass shower screens and chrome, and the film inside the integrated oven.

The rest of Brent is older and more mixed. Parking, and Wembley event days

Much of Brent is controlled parking, and visitor parking is electronic through RingGo, nothing in the windscreen, just a session booked against the van’s registration, with all-day cover available. Scratchcards went years ago.

The thing that catches people out here is Wembley Stadium. On event days a protective parking scheme locks down the streets around the stadium for hours, so if your move-out lands on a match or concert day around HA9, the van simply can’t get near. Book the clean for a non-event day if you possibly can, and tell us the date so we can check. The whole borough is inside the ULEZ.
